Grants are available through the Town's Precept for community groups and projects, though the level of finance the Council can provide is limited by law. We will, however, consider any reasonable requests accompanied by details of your project and your most recent accounts.

The application period for 2027-2028 Budgeted Grants will open in the autumn.   

Groups applying must have a constitution and a bank account with two signatories, and unfortunately under the restrictions of the Local Government Act 1972 we are unable to fund individuals.  Further details are available from the Town Clerk.

Applications should be recieved by Monday 16th November 2026.

 

The Town Council's Grant Funding Programme for 2026-27 was able to make the following grants to local organisations:

1st Kirton in Lindsey Guides and Brownies - £500

1st Kirton in Lindsey Scouts - £500

Evergreens Club - £800 

Diamond Jubilee Town Hall - £900

Kirton First - £2,500

Kirton in Lindsey In Bloom - £1,000

KLASSIC - £4,000

 

We also have a Community Pot Budget of £1,000, which any local organisation can apply to during the year for small grants up to £300.

Town Hall Live (Community Pot) - £300

Kirton in Lindsey Bowling Club - £300 

Royal British Legion Kirton in Lindsey (Community Pot) - £300 (for 2026-27)

 

To be considered for a grant your project must directly benefit a group of people residing within the parish.
