Grants are available through the Town's Precept for community groups and projects, though the level of finance the Council can provide is limited by law. We will, however, consider any reasonable requests accompanied by details of your project and your most recent accounts.
The application period for 2023-2024 is now open, accepting applications until Monday 14th November 2022. There remains funding in the Community Pot for the financial year 2022-2023 if any groups are looking for funding before April 2023.
Groups applying must have a constitution and a bank account with two signatories, and unfortunately under the restrictions of the Local Government Act 1972 we are unable to fund individuals. Further details are avilable from the Town Clerk.
