Kirton in Bloom Garden Competition 2010

The council has changed the entry criteria for the competition this year, with all residents' gardens and hanging baskets being entered on an automatic basis. Residents do not need to do anything to register their interest as councilllors will simply wander through the town during the last week in June and pick six gardens and six baskets in each category which they think merit inspection by the judges. Those put forward to the final judging will be informed by the Clerk.

The categories are as follows:

Best Front Garden or Residential Frontage

Best Hanging Basket

Best Kept Garden

Best Commercial Frontage

All winners and entrants will be invited to view photographs of the gardens and to the presentation which is usually held in August or September.
