Biog
Originally from South Derbyshire, near Burton-upon-Trent, Cllr Startin lived on a farm until he was 14 yrs old before attending the
University of Kingston-upon -Hull where he read zoology . Moving to live and work in North Lincolnshire in June 1996 he moved to
Kirton in 2004. Cllr Startin has worked in various parts of the country, including Nottingham, Coventry, and London. He currently
works for North Lincolnshire Council as a Bereavement Services Registrar managing NLC Cemeteries and Crematorium.Cllr Startin
was elected as a Kirton in Lindsey Town Councillor in May 2005.
Cllr Startin is interested in natural and ancient history and keenly follows American Football as well as being interested
in martial arts. He is a member of the RSPB, Friends of the Earth, the Woodland Trust and the Liberal Democrat Party.
